To help combat the inflation crisis, Kansas should immediately eliminate the sales tax on food and hygiene products and provide state-level relief from skyrocketing property tax valuations.
High utility and gas prices are hurting Kansas families. The legislature should reduce the state gasoline tax and end regulations that drive up the cost of electricity.
Kansas' public employees deserve a secure retirement. I will work to keep KPERS secure and strong for both current and future retirees.
I support our local law enforcement and fully back the blue! Keeping our families and communities safe and strong must be a top priority for state and local government.
I will work with our federal partners to enact policies that fight both drug and human trafficking in Kansas.
We must strengthen Kansas’ K-12 early intervention programs to help at-risk students avoid future violence and substance abuse.
I will promote sustainability and environmental conservation to ensure future generations can enjoy our state's parks, waterways, and hunting grounds.
Kansas must expand access to affordable healthcare options, including mental health services, and require price transparency for services and prescription drugs.
I am a strong proponent of healthcare research. My family started a skin cancer awareness foundation in 2011 that supports research at the University of Kansas Hospital.
It’s time to put students first. We need more parental involvement in our schools and we must promote a college and career readiness curriculum. We must also expand access to vocational programs.
I will vote for constitutional funding for K-12 schools, including full funding for the Kansas School for the Deaf and special education.
Kansas teachers are underpaid compared to their colleagues nationally. It's time to give these hard working public servants a raise and protect their retirement.
